PRODUCTS ultraflo
With years of experience producing top quality mortar, concrete, plaster and screed we now introduce a revolutionary new product that takes floor screed to new levels.
WHAT IS IT?
Ultraflo is a pumpable, virtually self leveling floor screed. Which is a hemi-hydrate, calcium sulphate based screed premixed by our advance computerised plant. As ultraflo is a by-product from flue gas desulphurization it has been awarded many prestigious environmental awards.
WHY ULTRAFLO?
As ultraflo does not contain cement, shrinkage and curling are no longer a problem. Ultraflo can be laid with a greatly reduced number of movement joints, will be virtually crack free and have a much superior surface finish.
Ultraflo is the perfect answer for infection controlled buildings such as schools, hospitals or pharmaceutical factories due to its inorganic nature and bacteria resistant properties.
Whilst it also has superb benefits for underfloor heating; the liquid nature of ultraflo ensures full encapsulation of the underfloor heating pipes, which dramatically increases thermal efficiency. With a greater thermal conductivity value than sand:cement screeds and laid at reduced depths your underfloor heating reaction time is greatly improved.
Ultraflo boasts greater compressive and flexural strength, enabling a reduced laying depth which in turn reduces weight and drying times. Once in situ ultraflo can carry light traffic after 24 hours enabling builders to get on with the job. The screed can be force dried, and underfloor heating systems can be commissioned after 5 days

QUALITY
Ultraflo is a quality assured product. It has been designed to comply with the requirements of BS EN 13813:2002 and is used to comply with the code of practice for floor screeds BS8204: Part7. It is mixed at our state of the art computerized batching plants and delivered to site in ready-mix trucks. Each load is tested for flow characteristics prior to discharge to ensure a quality product every time.
