Colin McClelland has recently been appointed as Sales and Marketing Manager for RTU. Colin comes from a Civil Engineering background and has been involved in sales into the construction industry for over 20 years. Colin will be responsible for the sales of all products and in particular the development of the ultraflo business throughout Ireland.

Colin believes “this is a great opportunity to be involved in a progressive company that is fighting back against the recession. With the introduction of new products and the intention to expand the business into new markets, we should be well structured and in a position to maximise our potential as the economy improves”

RTU recently exhibited at Self Build title show in City West Conference centre in Dublin.  This was the first time the company has been involved in an exhibition outside of Northern Ireland, and demonstrated our intention to expand our market coverage throughout Ireland. The Exhibition lasted from 11-13th of September and was a great platform to launch ultraflo into Southern Ireland. Despite the global down turn in the construction industry the self build market is still strong and the event attracted over 11100 people    during the 3 days. We are pleased to report a high level of interest in ultraflo and that we have taken numerous enquiries from people who are currently building or about to start in the immediate future.

Despite competition from other suppliers we are confident that our reputation and professional approach will enable us to grow the business into Southern Ireland.

RTU recently exhibited at the "Plumbing and Heating Trade Show" at the Ramada Hotel, Belfast on 6th and 7th of October.

The exhibition was a great success with over 1000 visitors attending. Visitors ranged from architects and engineers through to contractors and self builders who wanted to discover what is new in the industry. We received great interest in our ultraflo screed, taking enquiries from both builders and trade exhibitors.

Many of the under floor heating companies expressed an interest in having a module of our screed product to display in their showrooms. They believe that this will be a valuable asset to assist them in selling their under floor heating systems, due to the improved performance achieved when used with ultraflo.
