I chose RTU after checking out the alternatives primarily because we didn't need to sand the floor. The installation was quick and efficient and was all finished in a matter of hours. The finished floor had a superb finish and had only a 2mm variation across the entire house which has been brilliant for tiling over.

I would have to say I was very pleased with the whole process of the ultraflo installation from the Rep's visit on site where he explained how the ultraflo worked and the advantages it had over an ordinary sand and cement screed. Everything He said about the ordering of the materials to the fitting and laying of them to the paying and the speedy drying times were exactly as he said and so far I have to say I'm very pleased with the product.

RTU's liquid floor was a professional service from the first phone call right through to completion of the liquid screed floor. Just have to tile yet to give it the 100% floor. It is more expensive but maybe its a case of you pay for what you get!

After extensive research regarding what screed to use in our new house we chose ultraflo, primarily for the alleged benefits when used with under floor heating and we have not been disappointed. When switching on the under floor heating from cold, we get heat into the room in less than 2 hours. In addition to this we are able to run our heating at a significantly lower temperature and hopefully this will mean further savings on fuel costs in the future.........

TILER - P. McCAUGHEY

I recently laid tiles on ultraflo screed in a private house. I was very impressed with the quality of the finish. The floor was consistent and very level throughout the house, making tiling over this much simpler than many other surfaces that I have worked on. This resulted in savings in time and money as much less tile adhesive was used. There was no need for lifting and re-bedding that may be required on some sand and cement screeds.

For ease of tiling I would certainly recommend this product, so much so, that I intend to use it in my own house that I am currently building......

I chose ultraflo for my own house due to the speed of installation and quick drying performance. I was very impressed with the installation as the levels were set out and installed with ease throughout the house - much faster than would have been possible with a sand cement screed.

The quick setting nature of the screed enabled other trades to be back working in the house the following day and with the use of the under floor heating system I was able to force dry the screed within a month with no risk of shrinkage cracking. The screed dried out to a very even surface requiring no additional work prior to tiling.

Having seen how quick and straight forward it is to achieve a high standard of finish that does not have any shrinkage problems I am now considering using ultraflo in my residential developments...

We have been using ultraflo instead of sand and cement screed for many months now and are extremely impressed with the overall quality and efficiency of installation. RTU provided a complete installation and follow up service to ensure the floors are satisfactory. With the reduced depth of screed and the option to force dry the floor we were able to lay surface finishes much earlier than is possible with traditional screed. The other factor influencing our decision was the removal of any risk of shrinkage cracking that could occur in cement screeds. This means that tiling can proceed in the knowledge that cracking will not occur.

This has enabled us to complete properties including floor finishes much more quickly to meet customer requirements, and the customer will have the added benefit of much faster heat response time from the under floor heating system............
